Tracey Barlow - Non-executive Chairman
Gained a BSc in Chemistry from the Open University whilst working for ICI as a research student. She has spent 20 years working at senior positions in the utilities sector. From 2004 to 2006, as Head of Programme Delivery, Tracey was responsible for the delivery of Scotland’s £2.bn water and wastewater capital infrastructure programmes. She also has extensive operational and customer services experience, culminating as General Manager Network Operations serving 7m customers in the UK. Tracey is additionally a Director of British Highways Agency and other national bodies which brings valuable outside experience to the Board of ESI.
Jan Ward - Non-executive Director
A Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years experience in the metals industry. She has specialised in metallurgy, especially high-grade alloy metals and products for the oil, gas, power and petrochemical sector and is founder and Chairman of Corrotherm International Ltd. A graduate of the Institute of Export in 1984, Jan has worked for several producers and distributors in the US, Europe & Middle East, carrying out projects to establish companies in these markets.
